How Does a Free* 42″ Plasma HDTV Sound?

Ordering viagra overseas
A friend of a friend and JoshClark reader emailed me just a few weeks ago about his new arrival, a Panasonic 42″ Plasma HDTV (proof pic), which cost him around $40.

After some more correspondence and reading through a TON of forums, I took the plunge and completed all the necessary offers in an afternoon. My Samsung 42″ Plasma HDTV should arrive anywhere between the beginning of November and the beginning of January, depending on how long the remaining steps in the process take. After a few refunds, I will have spent only about $54 for a $1,500 TV.

The site I’m going through is run by a freebie network known as I-Deal Direct, or just I-Deal for short. They are a legitimate company, but not without their pros and cons.
Pros: They require less offers for bigger items than many sites do, and they have a TON of offers to choose from.
Cons: They have poor customer service and, surprisingly, will not accept manual credit requests. That may sound terrible, but it isn’t actually that big of a deal. Read on…

Their process is similar to how the old Nuitech used to work. You complete your offers, wait for credit (up to 30 days, though mine came through in a week), print out certificates to mail to them, the certs are processed (within 1-4 weeks), then you wait 6-8 weeks for your gift to arrive.

So, since they don’t accept manual credit requests, what do you do if an offer doesn’t receive credit?
You do another one. Or two or three, or however many you need to replace those that didn’t receive credit. At first this might freak you out, but really it’s not that big of a deal. After you see how many offers there are to choose from, finding another one or two for cheap isn’t a huge deal. And honestly, there have been times when I (and many others) have chosen to simply do another offer rather than wait for the sometimes excruciating process of receiving manual credit. After my original 12 offers, I ended up having to complete one additional one, which then credited the next day. A few bucks, not a big deal.

One extra step
For my TV, I had to complete 12 offers, which is pretty good. Sites for expensive items like this are getting harder to find, and the required number of offers for them is usually ridiculous.
The thing I haven’t told you yet is that you also have to refer someone who also does twelve offers. In the process of this site, you will only be able to mail your certificates after you and your referral have both been approved.
Unfortunately, sometimes a referral isn’t so easy to find. So here’s what we’ll do…

How can you order viagra online
Conga Line
A conga line is a list of people who are all working on the same freebie site. You’ll sign up as the referral for the last person on the list. Then you get put on the list below them, and the next person who wants to sign up will become your referral, and so on and so forth. Conga lines can be complicated when a site requires multiple referrals, but since this site only requires one it should be fairly painless.

Before you get excited
A few final details. First, you need to know what offers are available to choose from. Here are PDFs of page 1, page 2, and page 3 offers. You need 2 from page one, 2 from page two, and 8 from page three. Also, don’t bother sending email to the address listed, it’s an old account that I don’t check and that I’m not even sure is active anymore, I just had to put something.
Also, I-Deal is really picky about fraud, so be sure to avoid offers that you might have completed anytime in the past six months.
Furthermore, if you or anyone in your household has done an I-Deal site in the past six months, you can’t sign up.

The last thing you need to know is that I-Deal puts a 60-day limit on your account once you sign up. If you and your referral haven’t completed and been approved for all of your offers 60 days after you sign up, you’re out of luck. This shouldn’t be a problem if you complete offers soon after signing up, and get a referral quickly that does the same – even if you have to do one or two replacement offers – I’m just saying that you can’t dawdle around.

I’d also recommend reading their terms and conditions, just to be safe.

If you are interested
You just need to understand that if you decide to do this, you’ve got to be committed, because the person you sign up under will be depending on you to complete your offers, too. It’s not just your account on the line. That’s why I’m trying to give you as much info up front, so that you can decide if you really want to do this.

Also, there will be a $20 “fee” for joining the line. The problem with a conga line is that eventually people will stop joining, and someone will be stuck as the last person on the list. They’ve done their offers so the person above them will get a Plasma, but they never get a referral, so they’re stuck with nothing.
To help with this problem, everyone involved will send me $20 via PayPal. I’ll let that money sit in my account and eventually when someone is stuck at the end of the conga line, I’ll send $400 to them, so that they’ll be reimbursed for their offers and make a little extra for their time. I-Deal also sends you $50 if you complete your offers but don’t get a referral. It’s not fair, but it’s something.

Since there is no way of telling when people will stop signing up, joining this conga line does not guarantee that you will get a referral.
Currently more people are signing up everyday, so it will probably be a while before we have to worry about this. Just a warning.

I-Deal has changed their terms and conditions, so that we cannot do a conga line anymore. Thanks for your interest, and sorry to those who missed out.

Update 10.23.07:

  1. I so want to join this, I would love to get a 42″. I would sell my 32″ then

  2. Anna McMullen says:

I want to join the conga line.
    Sign me up!
    Thanks Josh.

  3. Thanks, would enjoy a plasma tv, sign me up! Thanks Josh.

  4. Bethany says:

    Email sent

  5. Bethany says:

Btw- why did he get a Panasonic TV and you got a Samsung?

  6. Bethany says:

Nevermind that last question- you can delete it if you want, Josh.

  7. Marty says:

Sounds good! I’ll watch my new TV while I read on my NEW MACBOOK PRO. :)

  8. Josh says:

    Hey everyone,
Got your emails and comments, and I’m keeping track of when they come in. So far we have about a dozen people involved, and this post has only been up for like 24 hours. I expect many more in the next few days.

No problem. Yeah, you can choose which one you want. You can actually also choose a check for $800, but that would be a bit ridiculous since each TV is valued at something like $1,500.

I chose the Samsung because I believe it’s a better brand, and a better TV (though I’m sure some would disagree). Both TVs are 720p, and probably equivalent enough that you’ll be happy with either.

Here are links to each on Amazon:
    Samsung HP-T4254
    Panasonic TH-42PX75U

I laughed out loud when I read your post. Thanks. :)

  9. Matt says:

I’ve done this exact site and have received this plasma just a few weeks ago. I got the Samsung. However, I started the site when you only had to do 12 offers, NO referrals. I understand that when IDeal sees that more people are doing a certain site, then they add referrals to it. So I didn’t have to have a referral, thankfully. The whole process from starting the offers to receiving the TV took about 2-3 months. Not bad and I only did 12 offers and spent $54 total. Let me know if you have anymore questions about this site or TV.

  10. Josh says:

Thanks for the info. Yeah from what I’ve gathered they changed it and added the referral requirement pretty soon before I heard about the site. Oh well, this is going to work out anyway.
Sounds like you spent exactly what I did. Not a bad deal.

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day about how I’ll have to get a TV stand for this thing, and possibly a wall mount. I found a nice one at Walmart that is a combination of both (there’s a pole going up the back of the stand that you mount the TV to, and you can fish wires through it, which is nice), but it was about 200 bucks. Then I thought, I guess since I’m saving about $1,300 on this TV, maybe I could splurge a little for a nice stand. :)

  11. Bethany says:

Don’t the TVs usually come with a stand in the box?

I did a little research on the site and saw it used to only require 8 offers. I am glad you brought this up- I was actually about to purchase a 37″ Vizio (would only come to about $800 with a 3 year extended warranty), so this will save me some money and get me a better TV. I hate the wait, but I’m sure it will be well worth it in the end.

By the way- In the email I told you my boyfriend’s name. Did you recognize it? :) Just curious.

  12. Josh says:

Yeah it does, I was talking about like a furniture stand that I could put my other devices and movies and stuff on under the TV.

Actually replying to your email now…

  13. Bethany says:

Gotcha. Check out Big Lots and ValuCity as they usually have really good prices, and nice quality.

You could also try Costco or Sams- You can browse their inventory online, which is a plus. It might save you a little money.

  14. Haran says:

I would like to join the conga line too. will send you an email soon.

I was just wondering when more people sign-up with this deal, wont they run into a loss? Wont they close down the site? I hear that shopfreepay has become slow and are planning to close down.

  15. Bethany says:

Out of curiosity, how much is the tax on an item like this? How do you pay for this tax?

I am sure it is not significant enough for me to decide to not do this site, I would just like to know so I am not blind-sided by it when the time comes. :)

  16. Josh says:

I’m not too worried about them closing down. Companies like SFP and I-Deal have been around for years, and conga lines like this have too. An extra 10 or 20 people signing up isn’t going to make them close their doors.

Also, ShopFreePay is not planning to close down. This is a rumor.

I honestly have no clue how much tax will be. From what I understand, it varies depending on your tax bracket, which is dependent on your income. I’d expect like $200 at least, just to be safe. Then you won’t be blindsided if it’s close to that.

  17. Bethany says:

Somewhere in the $200-$400 ballpark was what I was expecting. What I don’t understand is how they tax it? Do they take it out of your tax return, are you billed at the end of the year, what? Sorry for my ignorance, I just like to know these things :)

  18. Josh says:

Honestly, I don’t understand how it works either, Bethany. I believe it just comes out of your tax return, but I don’t know if that happens automatically since we already sent in w-9s or if we have to report it again when we file our taxes.

  19. LearningToBeFree says:

    Hey Josh,
I was wondering about using my pops as a referral. He lives at a different address, however, we have the same last name. Have you heard anybody having problems with this type of scenario? (If I used pops as a referral, I could complete all of the offers for him. Of course he is cool with it.)

  20. Josh says:

I wouldn’t use him as your referral, just in case the same name causes any problems. Here’s my suggestion. Send me an email and I’ll add you to the conga list. Then the next person to sign up will be your referral, and I’ll add your dad as their referral. That should eliminate any chance of problems.

  21. Bethany says:

As long as it is in a different household you theoretically should be fine.

HOWEVER- it does say that one cannot complete offers for another, and if you used the same CC information you are surely to be disqualified. Grounds for disqualification also include having the same IP address (so if you completed offers on the same computer for both you could be disqualified) If he is going to have his own account and complete the offers all under himself (though you could give him cash to cover the cost of his offers, if you wanted) then that would probably work well enough.

Try reading the Terms & Conditions fully and see if anything stands out to you that is likely to cause them to cancel your account.

If you do decide to risk it I wouldn’t do it if you are under someone in the conga. It wouldnt be very fair if you were cancelled. If you are both wanting one why dont you both get on the conga line, but with a few people in between?

    Hope this helps.

  22. Josh says:

    Just a quick update:
This post has been up for about 48 hours, and so far we already have 16 people in the conga line.

  23. Jeremy says:

    I’m in! Sign-me up!

  24. Dustin says:

josh seriously if you arent the coolest man alive i dont know who is i’ve been needing money to the point i cant afford to go to college and this definitely saves me I hope somehow ill be able to repay you.

  25. Josh says:

Thanks Dustin, glad I can help. :)

  26. Tanner says:

Please add me too! Thanks so much Josh!

  27. Nick Mahon says:

Add me to the list please (=

  28. Nick says:

    Add me to the list!

  29. Josh says:

    Hey Nick,
I did add you. Didn’t you get my email?

  30. Ryan says:

Hi Josh, Ive been a fan of your site since the SFP days. Please add me to the line.
    Thanks, Ryan

  31. Nick Mahon says:

I just noticed there are two Nick’s on the post… I dont know which one you were talking to when you said the email thing…

  32. Josh says:

    Kelly N,
I’ve been trying to email you but they keep bouncing back. Please write me with a different email address that I can try. Thanks!

  33. Randi says:

hi Josh, haven’t received an email from you yet, Thanks Randi

  34. Kelly N says:

Hey josh are we good with the emails? i got the intro email.
Even though it tells you it doenst go through, I still get the email.

  35. ken says:

please sigh me up, would enjoy one! thanks Ken steeves

  36. Nick says:

I never received your email josh. Will you try sending it again? Thanks a lot!

  37. Haran says:

Even I didn’t get the email josh. what now? do you want me to send an email again?

  38. Haran says:

oopss… just saw the note at the end of the blog.

  39. Arron says:

Just a reminder about other things for blogging:

“Sit with me and tell me once again
Of the story that’s been told us
Of the power that will hold us
Of the beauty, of the beauty
    Why it matters

Speak to me until I understand
    Why our thinking and creating
    Why our efforts of narrating
About the beauty, of the beauty
    And why it matters

Like the statue in the park
    Of this war torn town
And it’s protest of the darkness
    And the chaos all around
With its beauty, how it matters
    How it matters

Show me the love that never fails

She’s quite right, ya’ know, though I know this is fun…

  40. William says:

Josh, I got an email from you, but when you say “intro email” it makes it sound really official, like there was important info in there. All mine said was “you’re in” or something to that effect. Is that all I should be looking for?

  41. whitetyce says:

Ok, so what if someone who has never done one of these sites signs up for the conga line, they get started and don’t want to do it anymore, or they never get started. Will the person who is ahead of them screwed? The idea seems good and I know that it has worked before but I would feel a lot safer if someone I knew was going to be backing me up. I’ll do a refer for someone who needs ones because its stupid not to, but I would just be a little sceptical of someone else doing one behind me. I know it has worked in the past but what is your plan if this happens now.

  42. I signed up early on and have yet to receive an email. have you sent any out yet? if not cool, if so it might of made it to my junk box. Let me know, thanks

  43. Bethany says:

I have received one, so he definitely has sent some out. Try checking your Junk box.

  44. Alex says:

Josh, excellent find. I am excited for everyone doing this, but I think I’ve done enough of these offers with the product or parent company that I probably would not qualify.

Great find again, cheers to you all and best of luck!

  45. William says:

Ignore my comment at #40, Junk mail caught it. Thanks.

  46. Jonathan says:

Josh,I think its AMAZING how You just keep finding all these great things! lol i hope this wise and smart thinking of computer stuff runs in the family.haha

  47. Josh says:

There’s not too much I can do to ensure that every single person follows through with this completely. I’ve tried to give as much info up front as I could so that everyone getting involved would know what they’re getting into before they sign up. I also think the $10 “fee” will give a person a little bit of investment in the whole thing so they’ll be more encouraged to continue. Furthermore, I think that everyone will complete the requirements, because everyone wants their TV.

This is the most common question I get. Everyone is afraid that everyone else will mess up.

If you know someone personally that can sign up as your referral, that’s fine, just both of you sign up for the conga line one after the other, and maybe include a note in there somewhere. Other than that, if something happens after we get going, we’ll just have to burn that bridge when we get there.

  48. Matt says:

I’ve done taxes on “freebies” such as this TV and giftcards, etc. the past two years and you still have to claim it on your taxes even though you’ve submitted your W-9. The IRS won’t remind you to do that, either. I think you’ll claim it as self-employment. Don’t quote me on that, though.

Just make sure you claim everything you’ve received starting from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31 and you’ll be fine. You don’t want an audit from the IRS. :(

  49. Bethany says:

Thanks for the information, Matt. :)

  50. Josh says:

Yeah, thanks a ton for the info, Matt.
Do you claim everything, or just the stuff worth over $600?

  51. Matt says:

I believe that if you do several gifts from the same company, if that total is $600 or more, then of course you must report it. Let’s say I do Brandarama and I received $1K gift card and a plasma worth $1.5K. That’s a total of $2.5K so yes, all of that would be claimed on your tax return. If you only totaled for one year, from one company, $599.99 or less, then you wouldn’t have to claim it. But if you’re like me, I do several gifts at once from different companies so I have to claim every year.

Hey, Josh, how ’bout them Wildcats’ football? 4-0! I was born in Louisville, now live in Arlington, TX and have been a UK fan all my life, esp. basketball, I bleed the blue! But the football is a nice surprise, esp. beating UL!

  52. Bethany says:

I have a few friends here in Louisville that are a few steps shy of stickin their head in an oven they are so upset about that game. Haha.

  53. whitetyce says:

Can I still sign up, as long as its before 12 tonight. I really want that TV and this seems like the best way to go about getting it. I’ll sign up on the forem and send my money when I get off work.

  54. Josh says:

Yeah you can still sign up. The problem is just that there have been people who have signed up to be in the conga line, but haven’t paid or signed up on the forum. THOSE are the people who have until midnight tomorrow to take care of things before they’re bumped down the list. Anyone else can still sign up, even after the conga line has started.

  55. whitetyce says:

Ok, sweet. So if I pay and some other people don’t then I’ll get bumped up the list, works for me, are there still a lot of people signing up? I wouldn’t mind being the last person but if you have others who want it or requested it before me then thats ok. I see that there are a lot of the great value sites on here and I remember doing them from the nuitech site, did you do all of these again? This site looks very easy for what you are getting. I am excited to use that tip you mentioned, that will make things much easier, thanks josh

  56. Josh says:

Yeah there are people signing up constantly. Several a day.

You can do an offer again if you haven’t done it in the past 6 months.

  57. hey josh, tried to sign in but couldn’t seem to get into the website, what am I doing wrong? Randi

  58. Zachary says:

Curiously, how many have signed up?

  59. Josh says:

Over 40, last I checked, and adding more every day.

  60. Josh says:

I sent you an email. Have you created a username yet?

  61. Randi says:

how do i register in the forum? when i hit the register icon nothing happens, i must be doing something wrong, thanks

  62. Nick M. says:

Can you do the same offer if youve done it on another site or is it just if you’ve done the offer in the last 6 months period?

  63. hi, I’m registered Randi

  64. Josh says:

    Thanks Randi.

You can’t do the same offer if you’ve done it for ANY site of ANY freebie company in the past six months.

  65. Josh says:

P.S. I’m not capitalizing to shout or anything, just emphasizing. :)

  66. Nick M. says:

haha thanks for clarifying that (=

  67. Alex says:

Josh, you said that your offered credited within one week. Did they all credit at once or randomly, I have yet to have any of them credit.

  68. Josh says:

Any of the offers you did that appear as “Pending” should all credit on the same day. Whether that day will be 4, 7, 20, or more days after you complete them, there’s no telling.

  69. Annette says:

hi josh, my sister Randi signed me up using her paypal account, i wanted to get on the line and wasn’t able to do it today thanks Annette

  70. Annette says:

hi josh I have not seen my name on the list, my sister Randisteeves registered me yesterday, or some reason i think the emails to you haven’t been going thru thanks Annette Eddy

  71. Bill says:

For some reason my comment didn’t go through the other day. Are you aware of any other deals through Ideal other than the TV?

  72. Josh says:

Sorry about that. Sometimes the filter catches stuff it shouldn’t.
I don’t know any other deals currently off the top of my head, but I know they are out there. I just need to do some more research on that, and that will probably wait until the TV conga line has gone a little further and slowed down.

  73. alex says:

Has anyone else been approved yet?

  74. Christy says:

I’m in, could you send me the link too? :)

  75. chris says:

where do i go to get the referral link that i would need to give someone else? it says in their instructions that i go into ‘my account’ section, but i dont see this section on the site.

  76. chris says:

argghhh, sorry, i’m slow 2nite, i see where you get the link

  77. Rachel Gleave says:

Hey Josh-Can I still join the conga line?

  78. Josh says:

Everyone is still welcome to join. Just use the link at the top of the sidebar.

  79. chris says:

quick question, i was looking at the offers and some of them say “free trial for 7 days and then they will charge you $30″… so if i choose that one, fill out the info and whatnot, can i call to cancel the next day? will that still be valid? or do i need to wait like 5 or 6 days?

  80. Bethany says:

You need to wait however long it takes for them to give you credit for the offer. If you cancel before they give you credit there is a chance that you will not get it for that particular offer.

  81. chris says:

hmmmm, well that kinda sucks. a lot of these offers will charge you in a week or two and i don’t want to pay $90 per offer. arghhhh

  82. Bethany says:

All of my offers just approved after 4/5 days and all I spent was $60 (for all 12)

  83. Joel says:

I am an idiot, I made an additional email address to complete this offer and mixed up my email addresses when completing all of the offers. I have now completed everything except the referal with an email address that I do not have access to. I have contacted, but they of course will not correct the problem. The problem will be when my referal completes the offers and plasmatv4free emails me the link to my account. Any ideas out there?

    Any help appreciated.

  84. Josh says:

Ideal won’t email you anything. You just log in to your account on their site to print out the forms and check your status.

  85. Joel says:

but how do I login to my account?

Thank You in advance for the help.

  86. Josh says:

Go to and click “Check Gift Status.”

  87. Katrina says:

    Hi Josh,

I was wondering if this offer is available to Canadians? Could you let me know of free stuff sites that are? Thanks

  88. tferrero says:

I’m in :) I’ve seen a million of these offers but a credible friend stepped in… did my research and it seems like a win win situation. I have bad credit so hopefully i wont have to sign up for a credit card :)

  89. FreudChicken says:

Here’s a quote from the terms and conditions: “In order to connect these referrals to your account, we will issue you a unique link to our site, which you must then distribute to the intended parties. Your referral link will be provided on your custom account page. Any referral that does not click this URL or type it into their web browser exactly cannot be tracked, and thus, cannot be connected to your account. Note that some applications can remove the tracking part of this URL. Users assume the risk of not getting credit for some referrals when using our site(s).”

Anyone know which applications can remove the tracking part of the URL? Is it perhaps a privacy setting in the preferences of my web browser? Don’t want to get disqualified due to something behind the scenes.

  90. Ark says:

No program will remove the ending of your referral id, that clause is there to protect themselves. The referral ID number at the end of your link does usually take around 15 mintues to show up though.

  91. Josh says:

I’m afraid this offer isn’t available to Canadians.
Check out Trainn’s sites. They ship to Canada:

  92. Will D. says:

I want to join the conga line, heck yeah sign me up!

  93. J $ says:

    Hey Josh,

Just wanted to see if you could still join the conga line, and could you join if a friend already refered you, but you need a person to refer?

  94. Josh says:

If you’ve already created an account, I’m afraid you can’t join. Sorry.

  95. mslady82 says:

    Hey Josh,

I have a friend that is willing to be a referral for me. I know that he would need to pay the $10 for the conga line right after I pay. But since there can only be one gift per IP address, I would like to know if we sign up for the forum and pay the fee from the same computer if that would disqualify us, or if that rule only applies once we are completing the offers? Also, what can we do to make sure that he will be my referral in the conga line?

  96. Josh says:

You can sign up and do anything on my site from anywhere. You only need to use different computers (at completely different locations – not at the same house) when you sign up on I-Deal’s plasma TV site.
If you and your friend sign up one right after the other you’ll be fine. Just include her name when you sign up and I’ll be sure she’s under you in line.

  97. Bethany says:

My boyfriend and I are both completing offers through one of Ideal’s sites (you know which one) – if we are both just CHECKING our status from two different computers will we be fine, as long as we signed up via different computers?

  98. FreeBee says:

Whats the link for that site Bethany, and how many offers is it to get the MBP?

  99. Josh says:

I think they just log the IP address when you sign up. I don’t think it matters to check multiple accounts from the same IP. However, I haven’t done it myself, just to be extra careful.

A link will be posted for a MacBook Pro within a few days. Keep checking the site.

  100. Jordan Barth says:

    2 Questions:

    1) I signed up and as I was completing my offers, I gave my referral link to a friend who then started completing offers. However, when I check my status, it doesn’t show up. Is this normal?

    2) The first time I checked it out, I used a different email address and clicked on a few things but didn’t sign up for anything. When I actually signed up, I used a different email. Do you think this will be a problem?

Thats all!! Thanks for your help!

  101. Josh says:

    1) Sometimes a referral may take a few days to show up. If it doesn’t, email I-Deal and ask if they can link the accounts.
    2) If you’ve created multiple accounts, I-Deal will probably block both, and there’s nothing you can do. They won’t allow multiple accounts with the same information, even if you never used one of them.

  102. Dave says:

That’s it, I’m in. Sign me up

  103. Jordan Barth says:

Update: I contacted I-Deal about the situation and they said as long as I didn’t complete any offers on my other account, I would be ok!

  104. Julie says:

Are people still entering the conga line? I just heard about this and paid my $10 and sent my email but am I too late?

  105. Julie says:

Can I still get the referral link after I have completed my 12 offers and they are in pending status? How do I give my referral the link and where do I find the link?

  106. Bethany says:

On your status page (under referral requirements) there is a link to go to to get your link.

If you have already signed up you cannot sign up underneath anyone and act as their referral, if that is what you were asking.

  107. Andrew Stivers says:

    Hey Josh!

I would like to get in line if it’s not too late.

    Andrew Stivers

  108. Josh says:

    Hey Andrew,
Yep, you can still join! Just click “go here” near the end of this post!

  109. J $ says:

    Hey Josh,

If I didn’t save the site of the offers is there any way to get back to it cause I need to finish up a few more.

  110. Josh says:

Yep. Just go to and click on “Check Gift Status.”

  111. Ben Byrd says:

    Sign me up!!!!

  112. Josh says:

Click “go here” near the bottom of this blog post (above).

  113. Ben Byrd says:

Hey Josh! Am I good to go? I paid the donation fee and signed up?

  114. Josh says:

Not quite. You still need to email me with your forum username. Also, please be sure to read the entire signup page. There’s some important stuff on there.

  115. Ben Byrd says:

I am at the bottom of the conga line, I suppose I just need to wait for the person above me to send me a link?

  116. Ark says:

Yes you just have to wait, keep the line moving people! :)

  117. Julie says:

I messed up the conga line but found a friend to do the referral, only he started before he clicked on thle link I sent him. Then he went in and cut and pasted the link into the site and went to check gift status to continue his offers. HIs email shows up as pending under my referral box, but I am not sure if this will be acceptable as a referral. Does anyone know?

  118. Josh says:

Just so people don’t read your comment, misunderstand it, and freak out, you didn’t mess up the conga line, you just signed up on your own without using someone else’s referral link, which is why you couldn’t be in the conga.
I know you know this, just clarifying for anyone else who will read this.

There’s no telling whether or not he will actually work as your referral. Just have to wait and see I guess.

  119. J $ says:

    Hey Josh,

I signed up for a couple gold and silver offers and completed them but they didn’t show up on the “check gift status” page. Whats going on there and is there anything I should do?

  120. J $ says:

Also, what do you do when the completed offers just stay as “pending” even though I completed them. It’s been over a week and its only a 7 day trial

  121. mstrman80 says:

    Hi Josh,

I would like to know as far as the conga line goes, if your referral under you fails to pass the referral link within the 24 hour time limit, what happens? Will they be bumped to the end of the line, and would you then have a new referral? Please let me know.

  122. Josh says:

    Your questions are answered here:

That person is bumped to the bottom of the line and you pass your link to the next person in line.

  123. Jeffrey Copeland says:

Is the conga still moving ok? I may be interested in joining. Could someone email me the offers list as well at the number of offers for each tier? I wanna make sure I can do enough before I even venture to the site at all. I have done a few freebie sites lately and want to make sure there will be enough offers I haven’t done to complete. My email is to send the list. Thanks in advance.

  124. Jeffrey Copeland says:

Sorry scratched that. My browser got overexcited and paged down past the section with the pdfs of the offers.

  125. Pablo says:

    Hey Josh,

It looks like they have changed the terms, they are requiring 2 referrals now:

    Referral Requirement:
You must also refer at least two (2) unique households who, as described above, must join and each successfully complete the required number of offers under the terms listed in this document.

  126. Josh says:

We know about that and have already changed over to a new TV site from I-Deal that still requires 1 referral. Thanks.

  127. Han says:

    What’s the new site?

  128. Josh says:

If you want to do the site you’ll still need a referral, so I’d encourage you to join the conga line.
If you know someone who will be your referral and complete the entire site under you, then email me and I’ll send you a link. But be warned that if you sign up on your own, you can’t be in the conga line cause that’s just not how it works.

  129. Han says:

I’ve already joined the conga line (within the past hour). Just waiting for my name to be added to the list. I wanted to check out the site before signing up under the person above me.

  130. Shaytmg says:

What is the I-Deal website for the MacBook Pro? I want to sign up for the conga line but want to check out the site first.

  131. Josh says:

    Han and shaytmg,
I’ve sent you each those links. Check your junk mail folders, they might go in there.

  132. Brittany says:

josh, would you mind sending it to me too, i would like to select my exact 12 offers before i join the congo line so I don’t eat up anytime for the person before me.

  133. Josh says:

I’ve sent you the link, but if you just want to check out the offers, go here instead:

Because if you create an account without signing up under someone in the conga line, you can’t be in the conga line.

  134. Brayden says:

Hey I noticed the conga line is gone, does that mean that I can not do this deal? Or can I still do it?

  135. Connor says:

Hey, 2 of my offers that were approved went back to “pending”…
I emailed them and they said a week ago that they would fix it..
    anyone know of this?

  136. Josh says:

There is a glitch with I-Deal’s websites. It has happened on all of their sites on everyone’s accounts. Please search the forum for more about the glitch and what to do.

  137. Israel says:

    Hey Josh,
I was going to start the tv offer but saw that it needed 2 referrals, I saw that Ideal is only requiring 1. I have the people for my referral so I wasn’t going to join the conga line but was wanting the link if I could get it. Thanks and greatly appreciate all you do.

  138. Kaytlyn says:

    Hey Josh,
I am interested in jumping in this conga line but am just wondering what I need to do in order to get in line. I think i am signed up on your forum already Thanks

  139. J says:

Are there still any legit sites only requiring 1 referral for the TV? If there is how do you join the conga line for it?

  140. Julie says:

How long did it take to receive the tv from the date you mailed in your coupon? Anyone? They say 6-8 weeks, is it really that long?

  141. Alex says:

It says that my gold offers are not done after i sent in my certificate. Is this a problem

  142. Josh says:

Please visit the forum. This topic has been discussed quite a bit.

  143. David says:

I’m awaiting my TV which should be here any day, but I’m moving in a week! Is there a phone number for I-Deal so I can change the shipping address? Do you think a regular change of address form would get my TV sent to my new house?

  144. David says:

Oh ya, I’ve done the online contact form 4 times now, all with no response. Does anybody know the e-mail address the CS emails come from so I can make sure it isn’t flagged as spam?

  145. Josh says:

You’ll be getting a check, not the actual TV, so the change of address form should do the trick. I don’t know the email address off-hand, but I know that they’ve talked about this all in the forum. Look there and you should be able to find it.

  146. David says:

The $800 check? If so, that’s acceptable too, I just don’t want to be stuck with nothing, ya know?

Thanks for the reply, makes me feel a lot better.

  147. Pete says:

Is it still possible to complete this offer? I’m very interested in the macbook pro. Thanks for the information!

  148. Josh says:

No, this and the MBP offers are no longer available.

  149. Stephan Heilner says:

Is this offer still going, and if so, could you please send me the link?

  150. Stephan says:

Ok, duh, I should have read the post above… not still going.
